We are more than glad to announce that we are in the process of acquiring a piece of land in Tampines for the construction of a new Hare Krishna temple.

• The proposed temple will be a centre of learning of the pure principles of the sacred Bhagavad Gita and their application in our lives to achieve the highest perfection of life, liberation from material entanglement and attainment of love of God.
• It will be a centre of welfare activities such as mass Prasadam Distribution (Annadanam).

The land in Tampines is 18,000 sq. ft. in area and costing us $5 million and on top of that, the construction would cost another $4 million. We have acquired the necessary permit from the government in black & white to build a temple at the proposed site.

In order to acquire the land, we have laid out a scheme to raise funds, called Square Feet Sponsorship Scheme. This is where we need all your help.

As we are still in the nascent stage of this project, we do not need you to donate right away, but make a pledge of the number of square feet you want to sponsor. You may donate only when we are ready to pay the land owner. We will contact you once we are ready.

Your service shall be recognized by the following titles according to your sponsorship amount (1 sqft = $351.00):

There is a dire need to spread the Vedic culture, as presented in the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, to the suffering humanity, which is losing direction in the dense darkness of the modern highly materialistic civilization. Just as there are so many universities teaching materialistic subject matters, there is a great need of a spiritual university to dispel the ignorance of Kali Yuga, especially in such an important city as Singapore.
